The FIHOP Lending Program for Developers

The FIHOP lending program is designed to enhance developer profit and promote long-term stability of their developments. We offer long-term (up to 30 months) permanent loan commitments so that developers know quickly how to structure the financial side of their development to achieve maximum results.

Eligible loans for consideration by FIHOP are the permanent loans associated with the Tax Credits issued by the Mississippi Home Corporation (MHC) for new construction.

Apply for a FIHOP Loan

Applications are rolling and accepted at any time. However, if a developer is requesting a firm commitment for participation in a competitive Tax Credit cycle, the QAP will define the last date that such applications will be received by FIHOP for processing in time to be included in the cycle application package. Firm commitments issued for Tax Credit cycles are issued subject to the application’s receipt of Tax Credits from Mississippi Home Corporation.
